Consciousness School & Community

Who We Are

Inspiration Community was founded by Jessica Dibb, Spiritual Leader and Facilitator. In 1983, Jessica started to facilitate classes and intensives, including "Celebrating Life" and "Awakening." In 1985, Jessica started calling these trainings and ritual celebrations "The Inspiration Community."

Over the next few years the curriculum expanded, calling to increasing numbers of people who were also seeking stimulating ways to awaken and heal authentic selves. The fundamental principle of these studies is the love filled commitment to realize potential awakened status and essential life in order to respect ourselves, our relationships, and planet earth in complete harmony. These classes have come to be known as the Inspiration Mystery School.

In 1989, some people from the courses and intensives came together to form the "Inspiration Visionary Collective." They wanted to contribute to and co-direct pathways for the principles of the trainings to be experienced in activities integral to daily life. They wanted to be of service to anyone who was looking for community fostered around conscious living lifestyle habits. This group of people has come to be known as the Inspiration Community.

What's New (cont.)

The Fall Semester at our school and community has been deep, enriching, and expansive. Each of the school’s long-term classes have committed to a new level of awareness, practice, and embodiment of the teachings into daily life. As a result, many people report significant personal and relational transformations, greater spiritual practice, more tranquility, the revitalization of challenging relationships, increased attunement and caring for children, improved self-care, deeper willingness to listen, and more creativity. People have started new service projects, such as an animal farm for autistic children to learn, the “greening” of workplaces, a conference to help inner city youth, and businesses that use only organic and green products, amongst others. New physical developments are taking place on the property. With great joy we have begun the process of surveying and filing a request with the county to build a new expansive class and shrine room.

Many long-time community members are sharing their love and time with others on the path. Kathy Sirota has graduated as a certified Breathworker and Psycho-Spiritual facilitator. In 2008, we will hold a celebration ritual and gathering when five or six other trainees graduate. The first teachers training class has created a one day class as their first teaching gig, and the community will be invited to attend when a date is chosen.

We feel immense gratitude for the deeper commitment of the students to their personal practices, the emergence of the new Breathworkers in service to the world, and the actions of community members in conscious support of the planet. All of these things contribute to the flowering of the Inspiration Community’s mission to promote personal, relational, and planetary wellness.

I look forward to continuing the journey with you. Please call if you have any questions about the Spring Semester. May every breath bring the awareness of abundant possibilities.

Love and Blessings,
Jessica

Integrative Breathing

Integrative Breathing is a potent, safe and natural healing process which utilizes breath expansion and awareness to induce transformation -- physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Breath is our most important connection to life energy, because it is the first and last action that we take during our life. As we expand the quantity and quality of breath into our body, healing energy is created and intensified. This promotes an increased state of aliveness and a connection to what is most essential to ourselves, both on a personal and transpersonal level. This energy can also facilitate awareness and release physical, emotional and mental blocks. Each breath becomes an opportunity not only for self-nourishment, but for the release of unconscious barriers one has to experiencing life harmoniously.

Integrative Breathing promotes the possibility of experiencing and healing trauma and tension carried from birth up to our present day life. It is a process that teaches and guides us towards our essential capacity to experience each moment of life as pregnant with possibility, a moment of rebirth into life and love. In this context one can integrate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual experience, and all aspects of self/Self, this moving into profound acceptance of oneself, others, and life.

Each person's process of self-discovery is individual and unique. One can use this transformational process for a variety of reasons, such as:
  1. Wanting to change long-standing patterns of self-limitation
  2. Increasing self-esteem
  3. Reducing anxiety and tension in the body
  4. Healing trauma from infancy to the present
  5. Promoting optimal wellness through enhanced breathing, thus supporting the immune system and all cells in the body
  6. Connecting more deeply with one's spiritual experience of life
  7. Opening the heart more fully towards oneself and others, thus nurturing the capacity to love.
The practice formerly known as Rebirthing is now called Integrative Breathing.
