Listening to GaiaThis course offering was first introduced in the Spring of 2007 to learn how to move into partnership with Gaia and nature by stewarding the land surrounding our school through communication with the land and plants. Each participant has adopted a piece of property to steward in the ways he or she is guided. This class has become a joyful, and committed practice for the participants, who have created countless projects over the past year that have ranged from cultivating Inspiration flower essences and planting gardens to communicating with animals and performing rituals for healing (snake ritual) and for animals who have departed. The class would like to invite new participants to join this spring to learn how to work with the land, plants and trees surrounding Inspiration. The first class will be on Sunday May 18th, 2008 from 5-7 pm. The class meets once every two to four weeks to learn about land stewardship, to listen for guidance, to participate in group spiritual practice, and to contribute to their projects. The class decides on a schedule together. The class meets for two hours and participants are welcome to work on their projects at other selected times outside of class.
