Aligned with the school’s teachings and committed to our personal practices of excellence, we join together in community to live our principles, support one another and create service projects for the world. Events are held throughout the year to sustain the continuing evolution and exploration of presence, service, wisdom, and love. Most community events have no fee, but donations are gratefully accepted. Please visit our website for a full schedule of events and complete details.

Kappy Laning has been a caller of contra, community and English Country Dancing for 20 years. She will teach accessible fun dances as part of the Solstice this year. No experience required and comfortable shoes recommended.
Musical instruments are welcome for singing and for the drum circle. Inspiration is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free environment. Please respect these sensibilities and be prepared to experience joy, aliveness, and love.
This is free no-cost event open to ALL. Donations are welcome, encouraged, and tax-deductible, and will go to support the land, scholarships, and other good works of Inspiration Community.
Early arrival for swimming is 3:00 pm and the event will end by 10 PM
Sweat Lodge Ceremony
Everyone is welcome and everyone can participate. The beginning of the ceremony is building the fire, covering the lodge and preparing the site. Bring ample water to drink or a water bottle that you can refill here, a light snack, a towel and suitable clothes for the lodge. We happily welcome guests who are new to sweat lodges as well as those who have attended many times before. Bring your intentions, prayers, songs, heart, body, mind & spirit for a morning immersed in nature and magic.
If you are able, donations of cantaloupe-sized rocks like granite, basalt or limestone are always appreciated. We ask donations of $20 for the sweats and if you can give more, the non-profit community will certainly put those funds to great use. Most of the donations collected at our sweats have gone directly back into maintaining and improving these ceremonies and the structure of the lodge itself. Many thanks to all of you who have worked and participated to keep these ceremonies alive and vibrant here for so many years. We honor you and all of our ancestors.

Drum and Dance Circles
A sacred circle to release, chant, pray, drum, dance, play, and celebrate together! Join us to invite prayers, release that which holds you back, express playfulness, and step into the fullness of who you really are. We honor the sacred in all of life and offer expression from a place of deep respect and intention. The drums support the dance, the dance inspires the chant, the chant leads us into prayer…and it’s all a way to PLAY together! Family-friendly and substance-free.
